An exceptional example of the rare and beautiful XJ Coupe featuring the great fuel injected V12 engine. This UK supplied example, finished in Squadron Blue with tan leather, has covered only 39,500 miles from new and is in the most superb ‘better than new’ condition having been restored some years ago to the highest ‘money no object’ standards. 

This V12 Coupe was supplied when new by Jaguar main dealer Mann Egerton in Cheltenham as detailed in the original service book and Jaguar Heritage Production Trace Certificate, both of which accompany the car. The original owner, a resident of Warwickshire continued to use the supplying dealer for servicing along with Jaguar Cars in Coventry as noted in service stamps and by March 1977 he had covered 11,800 miles.

A couple of subsequent owners clearly looked after the car very carefully and used it sparingly as in 2007 it was offered for sale in very good original order with just 32,000 miles recorded. Photographs on file from this time help to indicate the fine original order.

Following this the XJ was the subject of an extensive bare metal professional restoration by renowned Jaguar experts XK Engineering with final detailing by JD Classics. Updates during this work included a handmade stainless steel exhaust system, geared starter motor and Becker Mexico retro stereo system with phone connectivity, satellite navigation and electric aerial.

Since completion the Jaguar has covered an additional 4,500 dry miles and remains in immaculate order throughout, a testament to the quality of the work covered and the care of subsequent owners. JD Classics and more recently Woodham Mortimer have looked after the maintenance of this special XJ.
