Finished in the lovely shade of mid blue metallic with light grey leather interior this is a rare UK supplied right hand drive model. During the restoration the car was upgraded to 280SE Cabriolet spec with the fitment of a period correct and fully rebuilt 2.8 litre 6-cylinder Mercedes engine. This greatly enhances performance, indeed with power steering and the much-revered Mercedes four speed automatic gearbox progress is smooth and rapid. 

The sheer quality of the restoration work completed is evident everywhere from the perfect panel gaps to exacting fit and finish of exterior chrome and interior wood, the latter being notoriously difficult to get right.
