£ 3,595Ugo De Rosa, was one of the most successful Italian framebuilders of his generation. Born in 1934 his early passion for bicycles lead him to study mechanics and engineering at a technical college in Milan and it wasn't long later that in the early 1950s he opened his first bicycle shop and began the manufacture of racing quality bicycles. He supplied many champions with his high end frames (Gianni, Eddy Merckx, Francesco Moser) and strongly influenced the industry with his groundbreaking ‘Cusano Milaniro’ frames.
We are proud to offer this example of a legendary Italian steel machine, a Colombus SL tubed De Rosa. Featuring the perfection and attention to detail for providing the best performances might expect late 1970s racing machine equipped with superb Campagnolo Record groups and De Rosa Pantographed shifter, seat post stem and chainring.
Bearing its original purple paint and original decals, the frame is presented in fantastic original condition being both rust and dent free. As you would expect, all the componantry is in fabulous working order meaning this highly collectible and L’Erocia ready bicycle is a fantastic ride on the road.
