1968 Ford Mustang 390 Fastback full Bullitt Replica
This is an original San Jose built Mustang S Code 390 big block four speed manual Top Loader Fastback. It is in the most superb condition throughout with correct detail having been fully sorted by England's leading marque expert.
The car was fully restored to a very high standard in the U.S for a member of the rock group Black Sabbath. The car was bought, several years ago, from this owner by a private English collector who spent many years waiting to find the right Mustang. This car was chosen for its superb condition and correct original specification, having been built in '68 and featuring the big block and 4-speed manual box with Hurst shifter it is as close as one can get to the example immortalised in the film Bullitt.
Following purchase the car was taken to Mustang guru Roy at The Mustang Shop in Hampshire for a full evaluation. As the extensive invoicing in the history file illustrates, every aspect found wanting by Roy was attended to. In addition a great deal of time and money was spent sorting the car with a number of accepted subtle upgrades as recommended.
This work included:

Following this work the car has seen minimal use on dry summer days and has continued to be maintained by The Mustang Shop.
