In an area as beautiful as The Marlborough downs where do you start! Leave the main roads at almost any point and explore the lanes and network of beautiful villages.
If you’re coming from the south, head for the Pewsey Vale and enjoy the picturesque village of Milton Lilbourne. Go through Pewsey and head for Wilcot and Alton Barnes. Turn right at Alton Barnes and drive over The Marlborough Downs down into East Kennett. Along this route of stunning chalk downland you will see two of the eight White Horses in this area.
From the East, there is a variety of routes that enable you to either follow the River Kennet or Kennett and Avon Canal. In between Hungerford and Marlborough on the Kennett River you will find the delightful village of Ramsbury, enjoy a pit-stop at the Bell before continuing on the back road to Marlborough.
From the North, you can explore the Cotswolds before having a look around Cirencester which is only 30 mins from our showrooms.
